While performing at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, France, on Wednesday, October 7, the My Heart Will Go On singer faced a shocking mishap as she slipped and fell onstage midway through a song, reported PEOPLE.

In a video circulating on social media, the All By Myself singer can be seen delivering an electrifying performance before slipping on the stage after her pants caught on one of her heels.

Celine Dion has been suffering from Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) for years. It is a rare, chronic autoimmune neurological disorder that caused painful muscle stiffness and severe spasms in the trunk, back and limbs.

Months after being officially diagnosed with the condition that affects one in a million people, Dion revealed about her health battle in December 2022.

According to Cleveland Clinic, no exact cause of Stiff Person Syndrome has been known yet. However, researchers suggest that it is an “autoimmune condition” in which a person’s immune system attacks healthy cells for unknown reason.
