Zara Larsson has proven times and times again that marketing and associating yourself with a specific aesthetic is the key in the world of fast-moving trends.
That's why hibiscus flowers, sunset colour palette, Lisa Fank-style dolphin and rhinestone glam reminds the internet of the Midnight Sun singer.
During her Midnight Sun tour, Zara has leaned more into the Y2K aesthetic with the help of her legendary makeup artist Sophia Sinot.
With Halloween just around the corner, Zara has given her fans a glamorous yet low-effort costume idea during one of her Tokyo shows, as her makeup artist transformed her into a sparkling Hello Kitty.
Zara Larsson's Hello Kitty glam details
For day two of her Tokyo show, the singer was seen in a red bow placed above her right eyebrow filled in with red crystals and outlined in black ones to mimic the Sanrio superstar's signature accessory in pop-star style.
Zara's most prominent part of her makeup has always been her eye look, and for the Hello Kitty makeup, Sophia gave Zara's eyes a wash of frosty white shimmer, extending the pale shadow all the way up to the brows and decorating it with more crystals.
She added three short, black, sparkling whiskers to each cheek and, for an extra detail, added a vibrant yellow circle on the tip of her nose.
Her cheeks were flushed with the signature vivid, shimmering blush, and for the lips, Sophia opted to give Zara a glossy brown look with heavy liner.
The Hello Kitty inspiration was well-timed, as the iconic character was created in Japan by Sanrio.
Moreover, Sophia, who always made jaw drops with Zara's vibrant glam, also added a Japanese pop culture touch to Tokyo's first show.

The singer wore "kawaii" anime-inspired glam makeup, including bold winged liner with exaggerated anime-style lower lash lines and soft pastel purple eye shadow.
For more depth, she added white shimmery highlighter in the inner corners.
Zara sported a heavy vibrant blush, with highlights being the diagonal anime-style accent lines, with glossy peach lips.
Notably, Zara Larsson performed two sold-out shows in Tokyo on October 7 and October 8, 2026, at Ebisu The Garden Hall as part of her Midnight Sun Tour.
