Selma Blair has been arraigned on two assault charges following an alleged incident aboard a flight, according to reports.
According to TMZ, the Cruel Intentions star was arrested after allegedly punching a flight attendant and biting another crew member during a flight to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on October 11.
The Port Authority of New York said two flight attendants reported injuries in connection with the incident, and one required hospital treatment.
Blair was reportedly taken to a hospital for evaluation after her arrest on Sunday.
The FBI has launched an investigation into the matter.
“Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition,” a representative for Blair told PEOPLE in a statement on Monday, October 12.
“Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first,” an airline spokesperson told the outlet.
Delta said the incident caused no disruption to the flight, which arrived in New York City ahead of schedule after leaving Los Angeles earlier in the day.
Authorities responded upon arrival, the airline confirmed.
Dispatch audio obtained by the outlet on October 12 revealed that responders requested medical personnel to assess two flight attendants and a passenger after the plane landed in New York City.
One responder reported minor injuries, including a bloody nose and bite marks.
Dispatch audio also indicated that the disruptive passenger had struck her head against a bulkhead.
The FBI confirmed it is investigating the alleged assault aboard the flight, saying it was notified by Port Authority police after the plane arrived at JFK on October 11.
