Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Christmas plans are confirmed but a Royal reunion is off the cards.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who moved back to the UK in August this year, will be celebrating this year’s Christmas with Meghan’s mom, Doria Raagland in California, US, confirmed PEOPLE magazine.

The decision of marking Christmas away from the UK and Royal Family came amid reports claiming that Harry and Meghan – who are not on speaking terms with Prince William and Kate Middleton, have no intensions to apologize for making damaging claims against the Waleses after leaving Britain in 2020.

Now Palace insiders are claiming that King Charles won’t invite the Sussexes for a family reunion at Sandringham this Christmas unless they formally apologize to William and Kate as he can’t risk his son and daughter-in-law’s absence from the traditional celebrations.

“Of course, they were hoping to be invited to Sandringham, but until William and Kate get a heartfelt apology, it’s just not going to happen,” a source told New Idea.

They continued, “The King always has to choose his heir, and he wasn’t willing to risk not seeing William and Kate.”

Citing this as a reason for Harry and Meghan to leave London before Christmas, the insider added, “Harry’s heartbroken as he was looking forward to giving Archie and Lilibet a real British Christmas.”

However, the source further highlighted that “There’s nothing like it in California, but don’t underestimate how much Meghan and the kids miss Doria.”

“If Harry’s family don’t want them, Doria certainly does,” they added.

“They also know they’re not going to be invited, and they’re not waiting for an invitation,” claimed the source.
