Beyoncé’s daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi made a rare public appearance alongside their famous mom at a special event in their hometown.

On Tuesday, October 13, the Halo singer’s daughter Blue Ivy, 14, and Rumi, 9, made an appearance at the opening of Knowles-Rowland House in Houston.

Beyoncé was joined by her Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland and her mother, Tina Knowles, for the celebration.

The opening brought together family and local community members to celebrate the 31-unit permanent supportive housing facility, which underwent redevelopment after Hurricane Harvey damaged it in 2017.

For the night out, Blue Ivy opted for a trendy green jersey top, gray jeans and dark heels for the occasion, standing between Beyoncé and Rowland.

With her hair tied back in a ponytail, Blue Ivy also helped with the ribbon-cutting ceremony, holding a pair of scissors.

Dressed in a black dress and a matching sweater with white detailing, Rumi posed in front of Beyoncé and Blue Ivy as her mom embraced her with her arms around her.

She styled her hair in a ponytail, similar to her sister, and completed her look with sneakers.

Their grandmother, 72, was also present for the occasion, sporting a coordinated black suit with a matching jacket and pants.

With her hair styled in light waves, she stood alongside Kelly Rowland, 45, onstage during the celebration.

Blue Ivy and Rumi previously joined Beyoncé onstage during her Cowboy Carter Tour in 2025, performing “Protector,” while Blue Ivy also showed off her dance moves during other songs.

In July, Blue Ivy reunited with both parents onstage at Jay-Z’s 30th anniversary concert series at Yankee Stadium.
