Meghan Markle has reportedly defied Prince Harry to avoid another major Royal snub while being in the UK.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who moved back to the UK in August this year with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are all set to fly back to Montecito before Christmas to spend the festive holidays with Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland.

Sources close to the Sussexes are claiming that although the decision of spending their first Christmas since UK return in California is mutual, it has left Harry upset as she tried to convince Meghan to mark the beautiful occasion in London.

“He’s very disappointed, because in his mind they could have brought Doria to the Cotswolds and perhaps still scored an invite to see his father or the Spencers as a back-up option, but Meghan wasn’t having any of it,” an insider told Heat Magazine.

They went on to explain, “Harry did his best to persuade Meghan to stay and have a British Christmas, but Meghan wasn’t prepared to sit around being humiliated by the royals, waiting to see if they’d extend an invite.”

“It gave her the perfect excuse to book a flight back to Montecito, and Harry ultimately didn’t have much of a choice,” added the source.
