A man was fatally shot dead after the shooting incident in the Taylor Berry neighbourhood on Wednesday evening.

As per WDRB report, Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said, “Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 5 p.m. in the 3400 block of Taylor Boulevard near Clara Avenue.”

Mitchell furthered, “Officers found a man who had been shot. He was transported in critical condition to University Hospital, where he later died.”

According to the court documents, 21-year-old Raymond Holmes, the suspect, was arrested shortly after the shooting.

The metro police obtained a search warrant for the Holme’s car and found a stolen handgun inside.

Police also confirmed that everyone involved in the shooting incident has been found, so they are not searching for any suspects anymore.
