In her Vogue story, Dakota, who previously dated Chris Martin and Role Model, said she knows "a lot of musicians", adding, "They like me. I don't know what to say. And I like them."
When asked, "What's not to like" about artists, the actress laughed and replied, "A lot! A lot."
She referred to them as "ticky motherf--kers".
Her cover story was published on Friday, September 18, a week after she was photographed on her NYC night out with MGK.

On September 11, the pair were seen headed from Taylor Swift's Tribeca apartment to Estela Restaurant in the same black SUV, sparking buzz about a possible romance.
A source shared with Page Six, "They were hanging out, having dinner, talking and getting to know each other. … It wasn't awkward or forced. They were vibing and had fun."
"They hit it off and there was definitely chemistry. It's new and they're just getting to know each other, but there was definitely something there, and he would like to see her again," the insider said.
MGK's last public romance was his on-and-off relationship with Megan Fox, with whom he welcomed daughter Saga in March 2025.
Meanwhile, Dakota dated the Coldplay frontman in 2017, and the pair called it quits last year. She was then linked with Role Model in December 2025, and their split was confirmed last month.
