The actress, who recently threw a pre-birthday bash for her 55th birthday, is spending every moment in the best way possible.
"Her summer is not exactly what she originally had planned, but she is making the best of it," told a source to PEOPLE, adding that the Shotgun Wedding actress is "always grateful for family time."
"She had a great weekend with friends and family," the insider revealed, referring to the Bridgerton-themed birthday party and lunch that Lopez hosted over the weekend.
The source continued to reveal that the Boy Next Door actress thoroughly enjoys entertaining everyone around her and celebrated her birthday with a joyful bash, and that Lopez exuded happiness and positivity during the whole party.
Lopez's summer plans were set to take a different course from what unfolded.
The actress was scheduled to go on her This Is Me... Live concert tour after her recent Netflix's launch of Atlas to No. 1 topped the charts in May.
She was supposed to take the stage in Austin, Dallas, Las Vegas, Miami, Toronto, New York City, Boston, and more.
As the announcement of the cancellation came, the news of Lopez taking her time off to be "with her children, family, and close friends" began circulating, further fueling the split rumors.
