Travis Barker has decided to auction off his extremely expensive boarding pass from his recent trip to Australia.
The Blink-182 drummer is trying to sell the plane ticket for $8000 (£6220) on auction site. A small portion of the auction will be donated to the Lost But Not Forgotten charity, which helps young adults in crisis.
Travis seemingly auctioned off the boarding pass to show the world that he has conquered the fear of flying.
For the unversed, the artist survived a deadly plane crash in 2008 and ever since then he hasn’t get on a plane again.
Travis has previously credited his wife Kourtney Kardashian to help him in overcoming his fears.
“Kourt made it so I fly, my kids fly now. She healed us,” he told the LA Times, “It takes a little piece of my life every time I fly. The amount of stress and anxiety it causes is just unbearable.”
Travis recalled, “It brings up all this old trauma, and sometimes I’m like, ‘Is this worth it?’ But I don’t like anything having a hold on me, either – I don’t like being afraid, and I don’t like having things from my past control my future.”
Travis and Kourtney exchanged the wedding vows in Italy on May 22, 2022.
