Celine Dions dazzling Dior gown took THIS long to design

Celine Dion's exotic gown she wore to the Olympics opening ceremony took quite a while to create.

For her very first performance in four years on July 26, the Heart Will Go On crooner pulled off a long-sleeved, floor-length silver Dior gown which had taken 1000 hours to make, as per Vogue France.

The outlet in an Instagram post wrote a sweet caption alongside the closeup photos of the gown designing , "@CelineDion’s haute couture dress took over 1,000 hours to create in the @Dior ateliers."

It further went on describing how the dress was embellished with sequins, "A silk georgette embroidered with sequins (pierced sparkles) and over 500 meters of fringing studded with thousands of silver beads coming alive with the rhythm of her performance. Swipe left to take a closer look at the dress from inside the #Dior ateliers."

The designer of the gown, Maria Grazia Chiuri, also turned to her social media page and described what an honour it was to make Celine Dion's gown.
