Hugh Jackman's shocking regret about teaming up with a specific costar from Deadpool & Wolverine has finally been revealed.

According to the The Wolverine star, the actor is none other Wesley Snipes, who reprised his iconic role Blade after 20 years in the 2024 movie.

For the unversed, the 57-year-old actor played Wolverine in the X-Men movies from 2000 to 2024, which would've made him the Marvel character with the longest career i.e. 24 years.

However, things took a complete different turn after the record was broken by Snipes, as he played Blade in 1998, two years before Jackman's movie came out.

So, technically the Blade: Trinity star actually holds the record.

Now, as reported by Heroic Hollywood, during his recent appearance on Buzzfeed UK, Jackman addressed the unique record he could have made, confessing that he didn’t know about this record while filming the Ryan Reynolds starrer.

However, if he did, the Song Sung Blue actor jokingly said, “If I had known, I would have banned him [from Deadpool & Wolverine]. Now it’s just a competition of who’s going to live longer. Actually, I’ll put my money on Wesley.”

As for his future in Marvel, there are hints that after his popular return in Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024, Jackman might appear in upcoming Avengers films, Doomsday & Secret Wars and an X-Men reboot.

However, no official statement has been made in this regard. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Hugh Jackman will soon star in a comedy mystery movie, The Sheep Detectives.
