Ramayana teaser has showcased much-awaited first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama.
The makers of the highly anticipated movie have finally unveiled the official glimpses from the film during a grand event in Mumbai.
The 2 minutes and 38 seconds teaser opens with the 43-year-old actor’s grand entry into Ayodhya.
He is welcomed with showers of flowers while making his way into the kingdom, instantly establishing his regal presence as Lord Rama.
Apart from Kapoor, the fantasy drama also offered glimpses of him in warrior mode, alongside moments from his vanvaas (Sanskrit term meaning residence in a forest) with Sita and Lakshmana.
Towards the end, the teaser also showcased Yash’s look as Ravana.
Sharing the teaser, producer of the film, Namit Malhotra wrote, "Rama is the greatest of all time because he lived a life where the choices he made were always in the benefit of the greater good, duty over desire, and sacrifice over self.”
The upcoming epic action-adventure film duology directed by Nitesh Tiwari, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash.
Apart from them, the film, made on a budget of over ₹4,000 crore, also features Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Lara Dutta, and Arun Govil.
The first part of Ramayana is scheduled to be released on November 6, 2026, followed by the second part in 2027.
