Bettijo B. Hirschi's life apparently takes a shocking turn after her husband Todd Bridges files for divorce just three months after announcing separation.
As reported by US Magazine, Bridges filed for divorce on Tuesday, March 31, in which he claimed that their “marriage is broken beyond repair” after trying to “resolve [their] problems.”
He, who sought divorce from his wife in an Arizona court, informed that they do not have any community property or debts, and neither is requesting spousal support.
All other terms have been settled in a mutual agreement reached outside of court, according to the documents.
The marks the end of three-year marriage of Bridges and Hirschi, a photographer and designer.
They announced separation in January 2026. It was announced by Bridges at that time in a statement via PEOPLE, "After much prayer and reflection, my spouse and I have made the difficult decision to separate."
Hirschi's husband went on to say, "This was not an easy choice, and it comes with a heavy heart, but also with love and gratitude for the life we shared."
The former Diff'rent Strokes child star was married to Hirschi since September 2022 after meeting on a dating app.
Todd Bridges proposed to Bettijo B. Hirschi six months later, and the couple tied the knot that same year.
