Madonna sets pulses racing with her surprise musical performance in Amsterdam.
The Confessions II hitmaker delivered an iconic gig at the 2026 World Pride in Amsterdam, Holland, after appearing together at 2.30 am for an impromptu performance.
For the star-studded concert, the Queen of Pop wore a purple leotard top, corset and skirt in a throwback to her Confessions on a Dance Floor image.
During the festival, at one point Madonna halted her performance to make a last-minute announcement, leaving fans to scream.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the beautiful Kylie Minogue....the lady in purple is here,” she continued, saying, “I'm so happy to be here with you Kylie, thank you, I love you.”
In the viral videos, obtained by PEOPLE, Madonna and Kylie performed Love Sensation, a track from Madonna's new album Confessions II, with Kylie later also sharing a post on Instagram sharing a behind-the-scenes look at her surprise appearance.
The footage shows Kylie dancing backstage before getting on with Madonna and dancing and singing with her, while the crowd was also covered in confetti at one stage.

As the videos gained momentum on social media, several netizens flooded the comment section, with one saying, “Pop culture won tonight.”
“A cultural reset!!” another gushed.
While a third commented, “Now this is the Pop Culture Moment of the decade. PERIOD.”
“This is how a party has to work,” a fourth noted.
This surprise performance by Madonna came nearly a month after she released her fifteenth studio album, Confessions II, which she has been launching at events around the world.
Madonna and Kylie Minogue previously performed together during the singer’s Celebration tour at a show in Los Angeles in 2024.
