Queen Camilla is back in the limelight with a powerful announcement as King Charles III begins counting down days to a Prince Harry reunion.
At the start of this week, Daily Mail's editor, Rebecca English, published an article revealing Her Majesty's next generous move, which left royal fans in a frenzy.
The 78-year-old British consort – who has been actively passionate about her journalistic side has announced that she will lend her support to the Journalists' Charity's new awards initiative, The Queen Camilla Future of Journalism Awards.
A spokesperson for the charity has confirmed the move, speaking on behalf of Her Majesty, stating, "We're deeply honoured that as our Patron, Her Majesty The Queen is backing the charity's efforts to support new talent at a time when journalism has never been more important."
"It's a privilege to launch this ground-breaking new awards scheme which is set to unlock opportunities for many younger journalists nationwide," they continued.
Through this initiative, Camilla will give 25 winning journalists a cash prize for training, equipment, travel or accommodation, plus an offer of mentoring or coaching.
King Charles began counting down the days to Prince Harry reunion
This update came a few hours before King Charles III delightfully shared that he has finally accomplished a mission he has been working on since 2017.
Buckingham Palace unveiled in a post on its Instagram account on Monday that His Majesty has completed his long-running Reservicing Programme a few days after the Duke of Sussex accepted his offer to stay at the royal residence.
In the new statement, King Charles' office revealed, "New lifts open at Buckingham Palace! As well as replacing core building services, the Reservicing Programme has completed lots of improvements to accessibility since it began in 2017."
The mission has been completed under the strict and critical surveillance of David Bonnett OBE, who was reportedly assigned to the task in 2018.
Notably, the stunning transformation of the royal palace came after King Charles III offered his distant son, Prince Harry, to stay at the royal residence during his upcoming visit to the United Kingdom.
Will Prince Harry travel to UK in September?
The Duke of Sussex – who expressed his desire to travel to the UK again in September, his cancer-stricken father began counting down the days for a reunion since Harry's confirmation.
After the public mishap between Buckingham Palace's aides and Prince Harry, King Charles now reportedly wants a smooth reunion with the Sussexes.
In July, the British monarch met with the duke, 41, his wife, Meghan Markle, 44, and their two kids, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
At the time, Queen Camilla made a demand to King Charles to meet with the Sussexes under "no-camera" conditions, which subtly disappointed the Duchess of Sussex at the time.
However, the Queen has not revealed any conditions so far, as Harry is planning to travel to his homeland for the third time this year.
