Here's why Jelly Roll announces performance hiatus after split from Bunnie Xo

Jelly Roll has announced he is stepping away from touring to focus on healing, following his reported split from wife Bunnie Xo after years together.

During a concert at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City last week, the 41-year-old singer revealed he would be stepping back from live performances for at least a year.

“This has truly been a lifetime experience for me,” he told his fans, per Country Now.

The Save Me singer went on to share, “And in a couple of nights, I go to Colorado Springs and do my last show for a year or two.”

“I’m fixing to take some time off and heal,” he continued, before saying, “Thank you for the opportunity.”

Jelly Roll's final scheduled show took place on July 30 at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo split

His tour break update came over the heels of his divorce finalization from Bunnie Xo last month.

According to legal documents obtained by Page Six, Bunnie is entitled to a one-time payment, with the pair also agreeing to a confidential settlement governing the division of their assets and debts.

Despite their divorce, the pair said they still plan to have a child together via IVF.

Both have since moved on romantically, with Bunnie revealing in June that Jelly Roll had started dating again after filing for divorce in May following nearly a decade of marriage.

On July 4, Bunnie, 46, was spotted kissing 24-year-old Calabasas Confidential star Dylan Wolf at Jelly’s Goodnight Nashville bar in Nashville, Tennessee.

Despite maintaining a friendly relationship publicly, Jelly Roll's daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord, fueled speculation last month by teasing an unexpected reason for the divorce.

She stressed that infidelity was not involved but claimed fans would be surprised.

“Y’all have no f–king idea what happened, and wait till y’all find out. Just f–king wait,” she said.

Bailee added, “Because I promise y’all, the view of what y’all have of not only the situation, but their relationship … The internet in totality is about to f–king crumble the day that I open my mouth.”

Jelly Roll filed for divorce in May 2026 in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences, and the split was finalized on July 17, 2026, after nearly 10 years of marriage.
