Benson Boone has scraped off his Sacramento concert.
Just hours before he was scheduled to thrill the crowd at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, on Saturday, August 8, the Before You crooner took to his official Instagram Stories to share an “extremely disappointing” update with fans.
In the update, the 24-year-old American singer apologized fans as he announced that he will not be able to perform the show.
The singer cited medical issues as the reason behind cancellation, sharing that he tried everything he could to make his voice “presentable” for the concert, but failed to do so.
“Sacramento - I'm so so sorry but I am not going to be able to perform tonight,” he began the statement, continuing, “I've been fighting like hell all afternoon to try and make my voice presentable for the show tonight and it's not in a place to do so.”
The Beautiful Things hitmaker stated, “I know this is extremely disappointing especially for everyone who traveled to be here. Trust me I am disappointed too. I hate letting you guys down more than anything.”
“We're figuring out the next steps now, and I'll get you an update as soon as I have one, but this show will be rescheduled as soon as possible. I will see you soon. Thank you for sticking with me. Seriously. I love you guys so much. B,” he concluded.
