Summer holidays set to begin for the entire British Royal Family!

Every year, King Charles III arranges a cosy set-up for his senior working royals to spend quality time with him and his wife, Queen Camilla.

However, this year Their Majesties have chosen Balmoral Castle as their new stop to pause the ongoing hectic royal duties.

Now, the royal residence's aides announced that it has now closed to the public for the rest of the summer ahead of the royals' summer holidays.

Daily Express UK reported that the aides shared a new message on August 9th, stating, "Balmoral Castle, including the grounds, gardens and exhibitions, is now closed to the public."

"Thank you to everyone who visited the Castle and Estate during the 2026 summer season. We hope you enjoyed your time at Balmoral and left with lasting memories of your visit," they added.

They further noted, "Until next time, keep an eye on our social media channels for updates, including the return of the Balmoral Castle Exclusively Highlands Artisan Market on 6, 7 and 8 November."

For those unfamiliar, the 78-year-old British monarch has already started his summer break in Scotland, staying at the Castle of Mey.

Among the royals who usually go there for the summer are Prince William, Princess Catherine, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Is King Charles secretly planning to include Prince Harry into his Summer holiday plans?

As the announcement regarding the Balmoral Castle closure emerged, fans began speculating that His Majesty might have taken this step ahead of his youngest son, Prince Harry’s next visit to the United Kingdom, next month.

In September, the Duke of Sussex will travel to his homeland after his cancer-stricken father offered him to stay at Buckingham Palace.

However, through his Summer holiday plans, he might quietly invite his distant son to the Castle for his possible reunion with William and his family.

Well, these are all fans’ whispers; neither King Charles nor his representatives hinted at such plans of the monarch.
