Michael Strahan has welcomed a new addition to his family.
In a surprising update shared by TMZ on Thursday, August 27, it was reported that the Good Morning America co-anchor secretly welcomed his fifth child, who is his first with girlfriend Kayla Quick.
As per the report, the couple celebrated the baby joy earlier this year as they welcomed a daughter.
Notably, the 54-year-old TV host is already a father of four as he shares 34-year-old daughter Tanita and 31-year-old son Michael Jr. with ex-wife Wanda Hutchins, and 21-year-old twin daughters Isabella and Sophia with former wife Jean Muggli.
In 2023, his daughter Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor.
She was declared cancer-free in July 2024 after undergoing four rounds of chemotherapy and 30 sessions of radiation.
Speaking about Isabella’s challenging experience, Strahan, on Good Morning America in 2025, reflected, "You learn that you're probably not as strong as you thought you were when you have to really think about the real things, and I realized that I need support from everybody.”
He continued, "You think that I'm the athlete, the tough guy, you know, I can come and handle, I'm the father in the family. It is not about any of that. It doesn't matter. And it's really made me change my perspective on so many things in my life."

Born on November 21, 1971, Michael Anthony Strahan is an American television host and former professional football defensive end.
After his retirement from the National Football League (NFL), Strahan stepped into the world of media, appearing as a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday.
He also served as a co-host of ABC's Good Morning America as well as Live! with Kelly and Michael with Kelly Ripa from 2012 to 2016, for which he won two Daytime Emmy Awards.
