The We Don’t Talk Anymore crooner took to his Instagram account on Friday, August 28, to share a video message, which he called a "legendary move."
Ahead of his upcoming Whatever's Clever! World Tour in October, Charlie has urged his fans to respect his privacy whenever he is outdoors.
Sharing the video of himself over the screenshot of the post, featuring his pictures, which he described as "super embarrassing," with a light-hearted message.
He began his statement with, "I thought I must address these recent pictures that would just taken of me without my permission, its super embarrassing but you know this is the price of fame I suppose."
"Like it is such a privacy invasion, it's rude, yeah that’s the word I was looking for," he concluded.
In the photos, the singer was showing his abs while enjoying his time outdoors, however the description of the images said, these are "made with AI."

This update came nearly a month ago, before the See You Again hitmaker resumed his headline-grabbing Whatever's Clever! World Tour.
The musical tour – which began on April 22nd, 2026, in San Diego, California- has now been scheduled across Asia, Oceania, and other international regions through late 2026.
Notably, the first show will take place on October 11th, 2026, at Goyang Stadium in South Korea and will wrap up on November 17th in Perth, Australia.
