Tom Holland has ruffled some feathers after not acknowledging his wife's birthday publicly.
Zendaya marked her 30th birthday on September 1, and amid a quite relationship, the Spider-Man actor did not make a separate post to wish his wife on her special day, prompting fans to call out the "distant" behaviour.
On Wednesday, September 2, Tom shared a promotional post for a fitness centre and his own non-alcoholic beer, Bero, penning, "Nothing like a good workout at @barrys followed by a @berobrewing."
The comment section of the post were flooded with fans slamming Tom over the lack of public acknowledgement of Zendaya's birthday.

One fan penned in the comment, "Why didnt u post for zendays bday", which garnered almost 9,000 likes.
"Where's zendaya's birthday post," another comment read.
A third user noted, "Its zendaya's birthday wish her."
"It's your wife birthday bro," said a fourth fan.
"You share posts about working out, but why don't you share anything for Zendaya's birthday?"
However, some fans also came to the actor's defence, as one comment read, "People here are mad at him for not posting about his wife on her birthday… HE LIVES WITH HER he literally said happy birthday to her face why are people like this."
Another fan noted, "I understand it would've been cute but not everything has to be on socials anymore like they're literally married."
"Yall in the comments need to chill tf out I dont think he even runs this page anymore," read another comment.
Calling out the backlash, one user wrote, "yall microanalyze the fuck out of everything w tom and z."

Meanwhile, on her own social media account, Zendaya shared a childhood snap of herself, thanking her fans for the wishes, as she penned, "I can't thank ya'll enough for making the last year of my twenties so beautiful, I have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to, with love as always….here's to 30!!!!!"

Zendaya and Tom Holland first met back in 2016 during Spider-Man: Homecoming and confirmed their romance in July 2021, after pictures went viral of the pair kissing in a car in LA.
