Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s Heyy Babyy is soon returning with an exciting new venture.
In a thrilling new update, Pinkvilla reported on Friday, September 4, that Kumar and Balan-led 2007 comedy-drama film has been renewed for an anticipated sequel, titled Heyy Babyy 2.
As per the production team’s official update, Sajid Nadiadwala has given green light to the second installment, with the movie actively in the works.
It was also revealed that the upcoming sequel, just like the previous one, will be filmed in Australia.
The 60-year-old Indian film producer stated that Australia holds a significant importance for the franchise as it was a “beautiful and film-friendly country with a highly professional and welcoming environment.”
He also shared that the film’s crew had a memorable experience working there, which encouraged them to choose Australia for the upcoming project.
However, it is worth noting that Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s return for the sequel is yet to be confirmed.
Moreover, Heyy Babyy 2’s storyline is also being kept under wraps.

The film’s main story is loosely based on the 1990 Malayalam movie Thoovalsparsham, which was adapted from the 1987 American project Three Men and a Baby, which itself was based on the French film Three Men and a Cradle.
