As his estranged brother, Prince Harry, marks his 42nd birthday, Prince William has stepped out for a heartwarming reason.
On Tuesday, September 15, the Prince of Wales was spotted meeting the locals in Princetown, Dartmoor, where he is set to launch his new Princetown Community Fund as the Duke of Cornwall.

The fund has reportedly made £250,000 available to the community for projects delivering social, economic and environmental benefit to the town and its people.
It is funded by redirecting rental income from Dartmoor Prison, following a decision by William to stop personally taking the £1.5 million annual rent generated by the property lease.

The outing came on the same day the Duke of Sussex, who has returned to the UK for an unknown period of time with his family, celebrates his birthday.
Despite being currently in the same country, the brothers share no direct communication, with an insider sharing with New Idea that a meeting between the two "by all accounts" is not going to happen and "William didn't even consider the possibility" of meeting his younger brother on his birthday.
The Princetown visit has "given him [Prince William] a convenient excuse to put his head down and avoid what would certainly have been an extremely awkward encounter," claimed the source.
Moreover, Harry's milestone came a day after it was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made a decision to change their children school in the UK amid security concerns.
"It's a real shame, because they absolutely adored the school, the kids and their parents. It was perfect for them in every way and the children really enjoyed their time there. They really wanted to make it work, but they had to make a difficult decision based on the fact that the team couldn’t make the school run operationally secure," a friend of the pair told Hello!
