Prince William is said to be fuming over his uncle, Earl Charles Spencer's new book about Princess Diana's life.
The Prince of Wales - who recently made a brief trip to the the Isle of Bute in Scotland alongside, Kate Middleton, is reportedly "disgusted" by Ear' Spencer's shocking claims against his father, King Charles.
In his memoir, titled, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, which is based on the life of Harry and William's late mother, the ninth Earl of the Spencer family recalled a shocking phonecall with then - The Prince of Wales.
As per Harry and William's uncle, the telephonic exchange he had with Charles after Diana's death, his former brother-in-law said that people will forget his sister "soon enough."
This claim, which came alongside many other revelations in the yet to be released memoir, is believed to have left William seething with anger as he thinks that this move from his uncle has "put the monarchy in an impossible and insufferable position."
The book is said to have led the senior Royals assuming that Charles Spencer just followed Prince Harry's footsteps, who published his controvercial book, Spare, in 2023.
An insider exclusively told Woman's Day magazine that "William just wants everyone to stop lying and trying to re-write history, especially his brother and uncle, whom he believes are stirring up a hornet’s nest with their sensationalism and willingness to cause conflict and upheaval within the monarchy."
The source went on to share, "He just wishes that his brother and uncle would stop sensationalising or telling tales about the past that are impossible to prove either way."
"To him it’s way below the belt and totally uncalled for on every level," added the insider.
