Prince William had an important task to do today.
Taking to her official Instagram Stories on Monday, September 21, royal reporter Rebecca English shared the Prince of Wales held his first telephonic conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, marking their first conversation since he took office.
“This afternoon, The Prince of Wales spoke by telephone with the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney,” shared the Daily Mail reported, adding, “This was the first conversation between the pair since the Prime Minister took office.”
Rebecca also noted, “During the call, they discussed 'the enduring strength of the UK-Canada relationship, as well as The Prince of Wales' longstanding affection for Canada and its people'.”
