Meghan Markle is reportedly being extra cautious about her first-ever public appearance in the UK.
The Duchess of Sussex – who returned to the UK last month, with Prince Harry and kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet hasn’t made any public appearance as of now.
Meghan even deliberately skipped her husband’s first star-studded public event last week due to very understandable reasons.
The former Suits actress did not join Harry at the first-ever Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards, powered by ATCO last Thursday, to avoid over shadowing his special event with negative media coverage surrounding the duchess.
Now sources close to the Sussexes are claiming that Meghan is being very strategic about her first public engagement in Britain, so she is deliberately taking her time.
“Her first appearance will be photographed, dissected and debated around the world,” an insider told Rob Shuter.
“She knows the stakes and isn’t rushing anything” they added.
The source also claimed that Meghan believes that she got only one comeback so she just can't risk to wasting it.
"If Meghan can control the timing, she’d rather step out when the Sussexes have something important to announce or promote,” added the tipster.
The insider also noted that, “Meghan knows exactly how much attention that first appearance will generate, she’s going to make it count.”
