Prince Harry's has reportedly received a much-needed heads up from King Charles III amid growing complaints.
The Duke of Sussex - who eyeing a documentary based on the life of his late mom, Princess Diana, is believed to have been warned by his father over the contents of his new project.
Although, Harry wants the documentary to mark the thirtieth death anniversary of Diana next year, who died in a tragic car crash in 1997, the 77-year-old monarch wants him to be careful how he portrays Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla.
A source told Heat magazine that "It’s pretty vexing to The King that so many details are being leaked out."
"If Harry can’t accept the royal protocol, the King won’t have any issue with him returning to America, as unfortunate as that would be," warned the insider.
Reflecting on Charles reaction to Princess Diana documentary idea, the source added, "To say this news about Harry doing a film about Diana’s life has not gone over well with Charles is a huge understatement."
"He’s livid and if it does turn out that it paints him or Camilla in an unfavourable light there will be no mercy shown," added the insider.
The tipster further noted that "He’s still holding out hope that Harry will reconsider, that’s why he’s playing ball this way, and is urging him to grow up and tone things way down."
