In an exciting update, Xiaomi has officially released the latest Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max in China, launching with the advanced new Snapdragon processors, and integrated with a variety of advanced features.
The recently introduced flagship model’s launch comes as a rival to Apple's flagship iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6
The Xiaomi 18 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, while the Pro Max is incorporated with the higher-end Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Both chips are built on a 2nm process.
In terms of battery performance, the 18 Pro is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery, while the Pro Max features an 8,500mAh battery, with both supporting 100W charging and use Xiaomi’s Jinshajiang battery technology.
4,000-Nit displays and security
The 18 Pro features a 6.4-inch display, while the Pro Max has a 6.9-inch panel. Both use Xiaomi’s SuperPixel technology, offer peak brightness of 4,000 nits and include hardware-level intelligent privacy protection.
Cameras
For camera capabilities, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max consists of a 200MP Leica main camera, a 200MP Leica periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
Meanwhile, the telephoto lens offers 3.2x optical zoom and can focus as close as 12cm for macro photography.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are currently accessible across China, with a global release confirmed later in 2026.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro cost CNY 5,999, while the Pro Max is available for CNY 6,999 in China. Both models come with HyperOS 4, with global availability expected later this year.
