King Charles' office has delighted royal fans with a heartfelt Sophie's update, as Prince Harry returns to the US.
On Wednesday, September 23, the Royal Family marked 80 years of Mencap, a charity based that works with people with learning disabilities, a celebration which was attended by the Duchess of Edinburgh.
In the snaps shared on Instagram, Sophie could be seen posing with a three-tiered cake and having a conversation with charity members and ambassadors.
For the meaningful outing, the Duchess wore a black and white floral print maxi dress.

"Today, The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron of Mencap, joined charity members, myth-busters and ambassadors to mark this incredible milestone," the caption of the post read.
It added, "For 80 years, Mencap has supported people with a learning disability to live their lives to the full and achieve the things that matter most to them."
Prince Harry gives key speech in New York City
The Royal Family update came as it was reported that Prince Harry has returned to the US to attend that Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting in New York City, less than a month after moving to the UK with his family.
During the event, Harry faced an awkward moment while giving his address, as he faced a technical glitch, prompting the speech to come to a halt.
Returning to the stage roughly 40 minutes later to complete his speech, the Duke joked that AI had sabotaged his talk.
Harry, who was making his first public appearance in the US since returning to live in the UK, urged the world not to wait before protecting children against online harm, explaining that he was speaking "as a father".
His trip to New York marks his fourth public appearance in the span of a week, with his recent engagements centred around causes he has long championed.
Following the Invictus event, he stepped out for the WellChild Awards in London on Sept. 21 before travelling to the US.
Harry previously appeared at the Clinton Global Initiative in 2024, when he gave a high-profile speech about the harmful effects of social media on young people, another cause for which he and Meghan have been vocal advocates.
