Prince Harry is adamant to go ahead with the idea of a documentory celebrating his late mother, Princess Diana.
Per the reports, The Duke of Sussex has already been contacting Diana's inner circle to gather details of her personal life for the upcoming project, likely to release on late Princess's 30th anniversary next year.
However, insiders close to Spencer family are claiming that Diana's loved ones, including her own sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes have declined Harry's request to feature in the documentory.
An insider told Rob Shuter, "Diana’s own sisters saying no sends an enormous message."
They went on to explain, "Nobody has to threaten anyone. People understand the consequences: help Harry tell his version of Diana’s story and the palace door could slam shut."
As far as Diana's close pals are concerned, they can't risk ruining their ties with William, the King and the wider royal establishment despite being fond of Harry.
"Nobody wants to choose between Diana’s sons," noted the source.
They coninuted, "But appearing in Harry’s film will be viewed as choosing a side — and people are terrified of what that could cost them."
This update came over the heels of Princess Diana's brother, Earl Charles Spencer's memoir release.
The ninth Earl of Spencers family released Swan Song: Diana, My Sister on Tuesday, September 22.
