Prince Edward has joined his life partner, Duchess Sophie, in representing the monarchy globally.
After the Duchess of Edinburgh concluded her five-day-long trip to Zambia, her husband is now gearing up for a high-stakes tour.
He will be travelling to the United States of America and Canada on behalf of King Charles III, without his wife, Duchess Sophie.
On Friday, September 25th, Buckingham Palace shared the complete itinerary of the Duke, embarking on a five-day tour to the new states, which is commencing from Monday, September 28th to Friday, October 1st, 2026.

During his solo visit, the father of two will attend His Majesty's Birthday Party at a British Ambassador's residence, celebrating in honour of His Majesty, who officially marked his 77th birthday at the Trooping the Colour 2026 ceremony held in London on June 13th, 2026.
The visit will see the celebration of the enduring transatlantic bond between Britain and America, centring on shared priorities in youth empowerment, opportunity, and the arts.

His Royal Highness kicked off his new trip with his high-profile appearance in Baltimore, as he will visit Western High School, the oldest all-girls state school in America, as it becomes a new partner institution for the DofE International Award.
He will also tour Mount Vernon's new education centre and lay a wreath at George Washington's tomb, a gesture marking the America 250 anniversary celebrations.
Stepping into his role as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, Edward, 62, will host this year's Gold DofE Award ceremony.
The Duke of Edinburgh also attended an Experiential Education Gathering at Queen's Park, where he is expected to meet educators.
It is pertinent to note that Prince Edward became the official Patron in March 2023, taking over the role previously held by his late father, Prince Philip.
This tour update came a few days after his wife, Duchess Sophie, concluded her five-day tour to Zambia in mid-March.
