Prince Harry has offered a rare update on Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as the Sussex children settle into their new school in the U.K. after the family’s recent move back from California.
The Duke of Sussex, 42, spoke to CTV on Friday, September 25, following a skydive near Toronto that fulfilled a promise he had made to a 102-year-old World War II veteran while raising awareness for military charities.
Back on the ground, Harry opened up about his and Meghan Markle’s recent decision to relocate their family to Britain.
“It’s been great. It’s been great to be back on British soil,” he said, before joking, “It’s great to be back on terra firma, actually!”
Harry also revealed that, a few weeks into the term, everything is going “great.”
“The kids are happy in school, and it gives me a chance to really focus on Invictus in Birmingham,” Harry continued. “
During the discussion, he shared about his next Invictus Game, “The Games are in July next year.”

Harry, Meghan and their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, arrived in England on August 26, just in time for the siblings to begin the fall term at their new U.K. school.
However, the children’s new school experience got off to a rocky start when they transferred to another school just two days into the term over security and logistical concerns surrounding their commute.
A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan told PEOPLE that the school change followed discussions with the family’s security team about their arrangements.
A source close to the couple added that settling Archie and Lilibet into school “has been, and remains, their focus.”
The spokesperson said Harry and Meghan remain “extremely grateful” to the teachers and staff, stressing that the move was not a reflection of the school or the care their children received.
It is reported that the security concerns stem from heavy traffic in the area and the distance between the school and their home, rather than the school itself.
They said that concerns were elevated after an incident “made it difficult for their vehicles to stay in convoy.”
