Princess Charlene kicked off her meaningful royal engagement in a dazzling Armani outfit.
The Monegasque royal attended the Pink Ribbon Monaco Gala at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, alongside her younger brother, Gareth Wittstock, on Saturday, October 3rd.
Charlene, 48, was dressed elegantly in an all-white Emporio Armani suit with black heels and diamond drop earrings, while businessman Gareth donned a tuxedo with a pink bow tie.
During the ceremony, the pair helped to illuminate the Place du Casino in pink to mark the start of "Pink October" for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Princess Charlene's royal appearance
Shortly after their royal appearance, the Royal Family's Instagram account released an exclusive glimpse into Princess Charlene's public appearance.
"Her Majesty Princess Charlene, accompanied by her brother Gareth Wittstock, this Saturday evening, proceeded to the symbolic lighting of the Place du Casino de Monte-Carlo, rose parade on the occasion of 'Pink October," the Royal Palace added.
The statement continued, "For the 16th consecutive year, the Pink Ribbon Association, whose Princess is the Honorary President, is hosting this event to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month."
"Throughout October, 24 buildings in the Principality, including the Principality Palace, will be illuminated in pink to support the prevention, detection and management of breast and gynaecological cancers," the representatives of Her Serene Highness noted.
They remarked, "A strong commitment, supported with conviction by S.A.S. Princess Charlene."
Princess Charlene's cause close to her heart
For the unversed, since 2024, Princess Charlene has been Honorary President of Pink Ribbon Monaco, which raises awareness and funds for female cancer research and prevention.
The Monégasque palace confirmed that 24 buildings within the Principality will also be lit up in pink throughout the month.
However, for this year's occasion, Princess Charlene did not accompany her husband, Prince Albert II, as she stepped out with her brother, with whom she shares a close bond.
Apart from Princess Charlene, royals across the globe have kicked off Pinktober, including Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria.
