Queen Camilla have reportedly planned a new strategy to keep potential Andrew-Mountbatten Windsor threat at bay.
As the Royal Family inches closer to marking one year to former Prince Andrew’s fall from grace and titles decision, a bombshell new report has lifted the curtain on her majesty’s growing inclination towards the King Charles’ disgraced younger brother.
Andrew – who recently claimed victory in his lawsuit against Thomas Valley Police regarding his February 2026 arrest, has been living in isolation since being moved to a rather humble residence in Norfolk, Sandringham.
The former duke lost his Royal status last year in October, after his alleged ties with the late pedophile and sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein were exposed.
Andrew’s situation worsened after his late accuser, Virginia Giuffre’s memoir came out, exposing the true story behind her sexual assault case against the lawyer, which was settled outside court in February 2022.
In the wake of numerous controversies surrounding Andrew, Charles stripped all his Royal titles and also limited contact with him.
Now, Palace sources are claiming that Camilla has been showing some “softness” towards Andrew amid threats of a potential exposé against Royal Family – which can lead to further damage.
"Camilla is always looking out of herself and there’s no denying that an alliance with Andrew could soon come in very handy for her," an insider told Heatworld.
"That is bound to be a big motivator for her, though she’d never admit to that," they added.
The insider further claimed "that being said, people have certainly noticed how much Camilla has softened towards Andrew lately."
"She’s surprised by how many things they have in common. They’re both such horse people for one thing, and they’ve both spent their lives in this very small aristocratic world, so there’s plenty they can talk about, and they have been," they added.
Sharing Camilla's approach behind this move, the tipster noted that she "feels that is only wise, since it will mean he’s less likely to come after them all with some nasty tell-all, that is the last thing they need."
Why is Queen Camilla making room for Andrew?
The source explained, "She is by no means making excuses for Andrew but she is reminding her husband that he’s got the potential to do real damage and should be handled accordingly for the sake of the monarchy and for their own legacies."
"Charles may have thought he was distancing himself from Andrew by fobbing him off on Camilla but his brother is a problem that’s clearly not going to go away," they added.
