Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received special warning as speculation about a possible reconciliation with the royal family continues.

King Charles’s former butler Grant Harrold, who served the Royal Family from 2004 to 2011, has shared advice for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they navigate a possible reconciliation with the Royal Family, following reports that the couple plan to return to California for Christmas.

Speaking on behalf of Smooth Spins, Harrold exclusively told GB News: “Despite their recent move back to the UK, I think Meghan and Harry will want to go back to the States for Christmas this year.

The former butler added, “It’s where their friends and Meghan’s family are, so I believe they will want to spend the holidays there, and who can blame them really.”

He shared, “They will want to have time with their close friends, as everyone does at Christmas.”

King Charles' close aide noted, “I’m sure they will do a few events here before they go, but I imagine the day itself will be back in sunny California.”

Harrold said it was “too soon” for Harry and Meghan to join the Royal Family for Christmas, noting that despite reported progress behind the scenes, “there is still a long way to go.”

He expressed hope that they could celebrate together next year, advising them to “take things slowly” for now.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first joint engagement in UK

Notably, Meghan and Harry are set to visit a youth and community charity in Nottingham on Thursday, marking their first joint engagement since returning to the UK.

The outing is expected to mirror the couple’s engagements before they stepped back from royal duties in 2020.

Nottingham holds special significance for Harry and Meghan, marking their first joint public appearance after announcing their engagement in 2017.
