Dua Lipa could be set to headline Coachella 2027, as it has been revealed that the pop star has been in advanced talks with the organisers.
The first British female popstar to headline Coachella
If finalised, she would be joining Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter as the female pop star that headlined the music festival and would became the first British female pop star to headline the California festival.
As reported by The Sun, a source said, "Dua initially was in talks with Coachella in 2023, but ultimately she went with Glastonbury."
"Now, after a huge worldwide stadium tour, Coachella bosses have pulled out all the stops to get her to headline," the insider noted.
"The shows would kick off her new era and cement her as one of the pop greats."
A major feat after BTS rejection
Signing Dua will be a major achievement for Coachella organisers, who were recently rejected by K-pop boy band BTS.
It was reported that the group were in "early talks" to headline Coachella but things went side ways as they wanted to "focus on their own tour".

Moreover, Dua Lipa is also planning a huge stadium tour for next years, which will support her upcoming album, the follow-up to her 2024 record Radical Optimism.
The first single from the fourth album is expected to be out early next year.
