Kensington Palace has released Prince William and Kate Middleton’s first message after Meghan Markle gave her honest take on UK return after six years.

On Thursday, October 15, Meghan joined Prince Harry for their first-ever joint public appearance in Nottingham, since returning to the UK in August.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were taken by surprise as huge crowd turned up to greet the couple during their first visit to Nottingham since 2017, when they first arrived there as a couple just four days after announcing engagement.

During a brief meet and greet, Meghan was asked how does it feel about moving back to Britain? To which she responded, “it’s great to be back”.

Meghan was visibly emotional when crowd expressed their support for her as she warmly greeted and thanked everyone with a beaming smile.

Just hours after this surprising admission from the Duchess, the official X account of The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a photo of a lit amber-coloured candle with the words, "Wave of light" to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week.

Kate has been supporting the charitable organization for years, she also paid a visit to the Institute of Reproductive and Development Biology at Imperial College London in October 2020, which is part of Tommy's National Centre for Miscarriage Research.
