Selena Gomez has jokingly suggested that her longtime friend Taylor Swift may be better equipped to offer marriage advice, despite Gomez being married to Benny Blanco.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the fourth annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 14, the Only Murder In The Building star shared whether she had given her newlywed best friend, the Opalite singer any marriage advice after recently marking her first wedding anniversary.
“I don’t need to!” Gomez said.
She added, “I think she’s probably the best to give me that.”
Gomez also spoke about how special it feels that she and Swift are both married, sharing her excitement at the event, which raises awareness and funding for youth mental health worldwide.

To note, Gomez tied the knot to music producer Benny Blanco, 38, in Santa Barbara, California, last year.
The couple marked their first wedding anniversary on September 27 by sharing a slice of their preserved wedding cake.
Swift, meanwhile, married Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, 37, at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3 this year.
The best friend’s duo were both present for each other’s nuptials, with each choosing a shimmering gold dress for the occasion.
At Swift’s wedding, Gomez arrived with Blanco in a figure-hugging Oscar de la Renta gown adorned with glittering details and a fringe hem that fell to the floor.
Blanco later praised Swift and Kelce’s wedding, describing it as both “beautiful” and “lovely.”
During a September 2026 appearance on The Martha Stewart Podcast, he said he enjoyed seeing two people who genuinely love each other celebrate their relationship.
