Sean “Diddy” Combs has been transferred to a new prison following reports of special privileges behind bars, including access to cognac and massages, during his incarceration.
According to a spokesperson who spoke to PEOPLE, the disgraced music mogul was moved to FCI Allenwood, a low-security facility in Pennsylvania, on Friday, October 16.
He had been serving his four-year sentence at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey following prostitution-related convictions.
“We appreciate the Bureau of Prisons taking the safety and security of Sean and everyone involved seriously,” Combs spokesperson Juda Engelmayer said.
Engelmayer added, “His transfer from one low-security facility to another is an important distinction, and while we cannot speak to the BOP’s specific reasons for the move, it is consistent with a decision made with safety and security in mind. We are grateful for the attention being given to his well-being and hope he can continue serving his time without unnecessary disruption.”

The transfer comes weeks after NBC News reported that Combs allegedly had access to contraband behind bars, including a cellphone and alcohol.
The report also claimed that fellow inmates gave him massages.
After the report emerged, Combs was placed in solitary confinement, and his release date was delayed.
The 56-year-old is now scheduled to be released on March 2, 2028.
Combs was reportedly treated at a hospital over the weekend following an alleged prison fight with a convicted drug lord, a claim disputed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
It was reported that he suffered a head injury and later alleged the fight stemmed from his reported prison privileges.
On Thursday, October 15, the bureau revealed that the fight was “false and did not happen,” declining to provide further details for privacy and security reasons.
Combs was convicted last summer of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution for flying his girlfriends and male sex workers.
