EJAE has finally exchanged vows with the love of her life Sam Kim.
In a joyful update shared by Vogue on Monday, October 19, it was reported that the KPop Demon Hunters star has tied the knot with her longtime fiancé in an intimate ceremony in Seoul, South Korea.
For the special day, the South Korean-American singer chose a meaningful destination – her grandfather’s former home.
The nuptials, that took place on Saturday, October 17, were held at Stage 28, while the Pyebaek ceremony and welcome party were held at Congdu50, a Korean fusion restaurant.
For those unfamiliar, Pyebaek is a traditional Korean wedding custom dating back to the 1300s where newlyweds pay respects to their parents and elders to receive marital wisdom and blessings. It takes place a few days after the official wedding ceremony.
Opening up about choosing her grandfather’s home as her wedding venue, EJAE shared, “My grandparents lived in the house at the venue when I was a little girl. I spent much of my childhood exploring the garden and walking with my grandfather in the hills behind the house.”
For her big day, the singer slipped into a custom Danielle Frankel tulle gown with a bubble hem and strapless neckline.
She paired her gorgeous ensemble with her family heirloom jewelry, giving a heartwarming touch to the look.
“I had long admired Danielle’s modern, but slightly twisted take on a classic wedding dress, and I knew I wanted to reach out to see if she would be interested in working with me on a custom dress. From our first meeting, Danielle immediately understood my vision: ethereal, modern, chic, and timeless with a twist,” she told Vogue.

After staying in a romantic relationship for years, the lovebirds got engaged on June 1, 2025, in Brooklyn.
