Kate Middleton continues to shine a spotlight on charitable organizations, this time underscoring the essential work of a children's hospice.
In a joint post on October 22, the Prince and Princess of Wales official Instagram account and Family Action shared some images and videos from Kate’s recent visit to The Treehouse, as part of her royal duties.
During the visit, Kate met children, their families, staff and volunteers, offering support and spreading happiness to differently abled children, having life-limiting conditions and meeting their families.
The caption read, “Wonderful to visit The Treehouse in Ipswich and see the extraordinary care provided by East Anglia’s Children Hospices.”
“The Treehouse provides a space where children can simply be children, and where families can spend meaningful time together, make precious memories and find moments of joy. A wholesome morning meeting some of the children, families, staff and volunteers and hearing how EACH supports families through every stage of their journey,” the caption added.
Additionally, the Princess appreciated the dedication of all the workers serving at the hospice, calling her morning meeting with families and the care team as a wholesome experience.
The images showed Kate interacting with kids, and engaging with them, providing emotional support, opportunities for family bonding and activities designed around children’s needs.
What is EACH?
EACH supports children and young people with fatal conditions, as well as their families, across East Anglia.
The visit reflects the Princess Kate's continued engagement with organisations supporting children and families.
