Sonam Kapoor wished birthday to her sister Rhea Kapoor in a filmy style with a dedication of a song from one of her movies.
The Khoobsurat actress turned to her Instagram account on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, to wish the film producer on her 37th birthday with a video showcasing dozens of photos of the sister-duo.
Sonam’s Instagram reel was created on the lyrics from her song, Suno Aisha, written by renowned Indian writer, Javed Akhter.
Alongside the array of adorable photos, captured on various occasions was a heartfelt and dramatic caption that read, “Happy happy birthday to my rhee bee… I think Javed uncle wrote this song for you.. all the qualities describing Aisha are you. everything you touch becomes beautiful and I’m so glad you’re showcasing it through your movies and styling.”
Sonam Kapoor went on to dedicate the verses of the song to Rhea, “Tum ho kamaal, tum bemisaal, Tum lajawab ho, Aisha, Aaisi haseen ho, Jisko chhu lo usko haseen kar do, Tum sochti ho duniya mein Koi bhi kyun kharab ho, Aisha, Tum chahti ho tum koi rang Har zindagi mein bhar lo, bhar lo, Love you so much”
Rhea Kapoor reacted to her sister’s lovely yet filmy wish in the comments section, noting, “So dramatic, love you.”
Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor’s dad Anil Kapoor also wished his daughter with a heartfelt note, “On your special day, I find myself reflecting back on these past 6 months. What a rollercoaster ride this has been for you! Between the upcoming release of your film and those breathtaking looks you’ve been styling, I’ve seen firsthand how breathless and manic it’s been for you."
