Prince Harry made a short trip to the UK this week for a special event and revealed if he was ‘happy to be back home’, BBC reported.

The Duke of Sussex arrived in the UK on Tuesday, May 7, ahead of the Invictus Games Foundation’s 10th anniversary thanksgiving service, which he attended at the St. Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday, May 8.

Prince Harry also attended a party hosted by a charity that supports children of military personnel, Scotty's Little Soldiers.

Talking to the BBC's royal correspondent Daniela Relph at the party, Prince Harry told her that it was "great" to be back in the UK.

Earlier, as he made his way to the thanksgiving service at the St. Paul's Cathedral , Prince Harry stopped to wave to the crowds gathered around when he was intercepted by a cameraman who asked him, “Are you happy to be home?”

To this, Prince Harry had an interesting response; the royal gave a laugh and in his cryptic reply, said, “Nice to see you!”

It is pertinent to mention that this comment came soon after Prince Harry’s spokesman confirmed that his father, King Charles, would not meet him during his time in the UK owing to his diary being full.

However, Prince Harry's comment to the BBC proves that the jilted prince may have a soft spot for the UK and his family despite the drama.
