Kelly Clarkson spilled rare beans about her drastic weight loss, clarifying that it is not the result of Ozempic.
While conversating with her guest Whoopi Goldberg at The Kelly Clarkson Show’s latest episode, Clarkson clarified that she lost weight due to a medication, which helps breaking down the sugar.
Goldberg complimented the show host noting, "Every time I run into you, you look younger! You're like Benjamin Button. It's like crazy every time you walk in!" to which Clarkson responded, "First of all, it's all the weight I've lost. I've lost almost two people."
The EGOT winner further explained, “I am doing that wonderful shot that works for folks who need some help, and it's been really good for me.”
While explaining the reason behind her weight loss, she added, "Mine is a different one than people assume, but I ended up having to do that too because my bloodwork got so bad."
"My doctor chased me for two years, and I was like, 'No, I'm afraid of it. I already have thyroid problems. Everybody thinks it's Ozempic, but it's not. It's something else," the 42-year-old host told Goldberg.
She explained that her medication is "something that aids in helping break down the sugar,” as her body “doesn't do it right."
Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson clarified that the medication is not Ozempic, which is an FDA approved drug for the people with Type 2 diabetes.
