Google Photos for Android is reportedly set to introduce a new feature called "Cinematic Moment," allowing users to create dynamic moments from their stored videos.

This feature, speculated to function similarly to Cinematic Photos but for videos, was discovered in an APK teardown of the Google Photos app for Android version 6.84.0.634885033 by Android Authority in collaboration with leaker Assemble Debug.

Unlike Cinematic Photos, which transforms still images into 3D-like visuals, Cinematic Moment is said to automatically select a portion of a video and apply a slow-motion effect, enhancing the cinematic feel.

However, users may not have manual control over this process initially, though Google might consider adding this functionality later on.

While, the timeline for the rollout of this feature and how it operates remains unclear.

APK teardown discoveries are often experimental and may not necessarily make it to the final version of the app.

Additionally, there's speculation that Google might extend AI editing features from its Pixel 8 series, like the Magic Editor, to older Pixel devices such as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7.
