Alia Bhatt is honoring the iconic legacy of her grandfather-in-law, Raj Kapoor!
Taking to her official Instagram handle, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress shared a video that featured peeks into the grand celebration of the Mera Naam Joker actor’s 100th birthday as his legacy continues to inspire the cinema lovers.
“Time isn’t measured by days, but by memories. Coming together to celebrate the eternal showman, loved by audiences of all ages and countries - the unparalleled Raj Kapoor,” penned the Jigra actress.
In the video, the actress can be seen arriving at the event with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, who is the grandson of Raj Kapoor, and son of late actor Rishi Kapoor.
The video also featured a few seconds where the whole Kapoor family was gathered together to pose for a big family photo.
It also showcased the preparations being done to pay tribute to the legendary Indian actor.
For the celebration, Alia Bhatt opted to go for a sophisticated look for which she wore a white-colored saree that featured printed floral pattern. Keeping her hair flowing freely, the actress wore minimal makeup, while her natural beauty and gorgeous features did all the charm.
The event was joined by several notable actors and personalities, including Rekha and PM Narendra Modi.
