Apple unveiled the Watch Ultra 4 at Wednesday’s "Surprise and Sunshine” event, bringing a range of new, advanced health and fitness features, and longer battery life.
Alongside Watch Ultra 4, Apple has released Apple Watch Series 12, and the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, AirPods 5, and more.

Health sensing system
Apple Watch Ultra 4 entails the latest Health Sensing System with optical and electrical heart sensors. It measures heart rate every five seconds and provides HRV measurements up to 24 times more frequently.
Readiness score
The new Readiness feature assesses activity, training load, vitals and sleep to offer a daily score from 0 to 10, with recommendations such as “Recover,” “Ready” and “Go For It.”
Battery life
In terms of battery life, Apple provides nearly 50 hours of daily battery life and up to 84 hours in Low Power Mode. Outdoor workouts can be tracked for up to 45 hours.’
Apple Intelligence
With watchOS 27, Ultra 4 supports Siri AI, while new Audio Intelligence features include Sound Recognition, Live Rewind, Siri Recap and Shazam.
Health app
Apple Watch Ultra 4 comes with a comprehensive suite of advanced health features, bringing Insights and Longevity tabs, including a Health Age feature that compares certain health metrics with a user's actual age.

The recently launched Apple Watch Ultra 4 is available in sleek and durable natural and black titanium options.
It is pertinent to mention that the company is also launching the updated bands for the new model. The Trail Loop is available in dark umber, sand and burgundy, while the Alpine Loop comes in desert, dark olive and burgundy.
The Ocean Band is now made from translucent silicone and is offered in translucent gray, translucent kelp and translucent black.
