Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly given one of their major projects to another organisation.

In a surprising turn of events, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped back from their passion project, Parents Network - which the couple had launched to support mothers and fathers who have lost a child to online harm.

As per Newsweek's report on Tuesday, January 13, The Parents Network, launched in summer 2024, has been handed over to ParentsTogether, which supports the same cause.

Harry and Meghan's Archewell Foundation, now known Archewell Philanthropies has given ParentsTogether charity's full operational capacity and structure.

In addition to this, the foundation has also given network's brand, creative assets and a cash grant to cover the financial needs in the first year of core operations.

An insider from Archewell told the outlet that the transition "follows our established model where we incubate initiatives before transitioning them to independent, sustainable organizations—much like Invictus, Travalyst and others."

The source continued,"ParentsTogether has built trusted relationships with many of these families over years and their expertise makes them the ideal permanent home for The Parents Network"

"We couldn't be more excited to see these families supported and amplified in such capable hands," they added.

It is pertinent to mention that Prince Harry is still the patron of both Travalyst, his ecotourism initiative, and the Invictus Games, his tournament for wounded veterans.

However, ParentsTogether does not list the network's connection to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their website.
