US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a meeting today, which the White House described as “positive and productive.”
The meeting occurred after concluding talks with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the early morning.
Notably, both meetings have now officially ended. Trump and Netanyahu have reportedly discussed the ongoing US-Iran war, progress on negotiations with Lebanon and efforts to expand the Abraham Accords; however, the actual topic of talks remains unclear.
The meetings came after Iranian officials ramped up threats toward Kyiv after last weekend’s attack by Ukraine on an Iranian vessel in the Caspian Sea.

US Vice President JD Vance was present at Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth were also at the meeting, alongside other senior administration officials, as per photos released on social media by Netanyahu’s office.
US-Iran war talks
On the other hand, Iran-US has currently paused strikes following days of trading strikes after a renewed conflict, triggering widespread tensions.
Trump said talks were continuing, but Iran’s Foreign Ministry said no negotiations were underway. Trump again threatened to destroy Iranian bridges and power plants if no deal is made.
Military readiness remains high
Despite the temporary calm on the ground, both nations remain on high alert. Ambassador Waltz emphasized that American forces remain “locked and loaded” and confirmed that “additional military assets are moving into the region.”
